OBJECTIVES

The Global Summit on Harmonisation of Sharīʿah and Law (GSHSL 2024) aims to:

• Convene a diverse network of policymakers, legal experts, Sharīʿah scholars, and researchers to share a wide range of perspectives on the harmonisation of Sharīʿah and law.
• Facilitate in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange, fostering innovative approaches to the challenges and opportunities of legal harmonisation.
• Develop and evaluate frameworks for the harmonisation of Sharīʿah and law, ensuring methodologies are both effective and ethically sound.
• Highlight real-world case studies and impactful harmonisation efforts, demonstrating the tangible progress and potential of this field.
